It has been reported that the first owner, Mr. Charles Mays ( owned the boat from, 1974-1999) He sailed her to Hawaii, Nova Scotia and a 7 year circumnavigation.  The current owner is the second owner buying the boat in 1999 to date.

On Deck:  The decks are in good condition; they have been entirely re-fastened and seams reefed and re-caulked.  The cockpit teak overlay has been completely renewed and a custom aft deck locker added for a stern anchor rode.  

You enter the salon through the companionway into a large open and bright space. Excellent head room and room to move.  

Interior:  Teak and holly veneer cabin sole.  The interior shows the teak finishes and craftsmanship typical of Taiwan built boats.  It is clean and in overall good condition for its age.

Forward :  Chain Locker way forward, Starboard side moving aft are the waning lockers.  Port side single crew berth. Just aft of the Mainmast is a the master berth that extends to a double with storage drawers below.  Main berth has a custom hinged foam mattress and back cushion.   storage lockers opposite, next aft, enclosed head and shower stall to port.  Shower doubles as a hanging locker.

Main Cabin:  L - shaped dinette to port, settee opposite, extending to berth, Next aft, galley to port, Nav Station opposite 

Aft:  Quarter berth to starboard .   

Engine installation is on centerline of the yacht with access from galley sole and under salon table.

The engine has been well maintained over the years.  Some notable improvements have been the re-location of the engine and transmission oil filters to the space on the port side of the engine, next to the fuel primary fuel filters, fuel polishing pump and fuel manifold and re-location of the seawater pump on top of the engine for easy access.
