City Yachts has been in business since 1969, making us one of the oldest yacht sales brokerages in Northern California. Here are a few reasons for our success: 

• City Yachts has a reputation for dealing honestly and fairly with our customers. We are proud to be regarded as one of the most professional and knowledgeable yacht sales on the West Coast. 

• City Yachts is managed by Christine Kaplan, who with her husband Paul have been involved in the marine business since 1972. 2005 marked the start of the next generation.  Daughter Erica joined her Dad, Paul, and our business partner Ken Keefe, in Pt. Richmond at our boat yard Keefe Kaplan Maritime, Inc.  (KKMI  www.kkmi.com).  In 2007 daughter Sarah joined City Yachts managing the yacht sales and fuel dock in San Francisco.    

• Our boat-loving staff has cruised and raced in the Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean in everything from dinghies to maxi boats.

• Our experienced brokers are equipped with all the tools to help you find the yacht for which you're searching. City Yachts subscribes to the Yachtworld multiple listing service, and is a long-standing member of the California Yacht Brokers Association.

• We have imported boats from Sweden, Finland, England, Canada, South Africa, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia. We have represented some of the best boat builders in the business. We have sold motor and sail boats from 8' to 180'. If it floats, we have probably have sold it -- and if we haven't, we know someone who has first-hand.
